Basically a monkey business.

MLM. It’s a dirty word that can make you cringe in disgust. But why is it a bad word?

It’s because people don’t understand it enough. Or even worse, they over-understand it. They see the shiny Lamborghinis and delicious hotel stays- and imagine themselves resting in peace there.

But what they don’t hear is that it’s a pyramid scheme and they should run away from it. This blog is here to discuss the million dollar question: Is MLM, Network Marketing a sustainable business?

What do people make in MLM?

What happens at the top? What happens at the bottom?

Let the roll roll.

Understanding The MLM Model — Is It Sustainable?

The question whether MLM marketing is sustainable or not, has long been a topic of discussion. This is the 21st century and MLM or Multi Level Marketing companies have become the richest business entities in every country. But the model is flawed. And the biggest flaw of this model is that the business is designed in such a way that people at the lower level make nothing and those at the top make millions. This blog is an attempt to understand this flawed model and its consequences.

MLM is a type of marketing in which the sellers are independent agents who are also customers. These agents get a commission and thus they are motivated to refer to other agents. The distributors are compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of the other distributors they recruit. The more members they recruit, the more money they make. This creates a pyramid-like structure, in which the distributors at the top of the pyramid earn the most money.

The problem with MLM is that it is extremely difficult to make any money. The vast majority of people who get involved in MLM lose money. And the few who do make money often find that it is not worth the time and effort they put into it. For most people, it is far better to simply find a good job and work hard at it. So, MLM, aka, Multi-Level Marketing is NOT a sustainable business model. It is a waste of time as it requires less skills and more efforts.

Come Out Of Your Fantastic Fantasy World!

Millions of people are being scammed every single day. They are being scammed by the so-called “multi-level marketing” or “network marketing” companies. They are being scammed by having to buy high priced items, by having to pay monthly fees, by having to recruit other people in a desperate attempt to earn an income. What they fail to realize is that this is a scam. This is a weak scam. This is an illusionist strategy to lure innocent people into making them rich.

These schemes are often disguised as legitimate businesses, and promise quick and easy wealth. However, the reality is very, very different, and participants in MLM schemes often find themselves trapped in a cycle of debt and deception.

Who Gets The Bread? Who Folds The Wrap? What Happens At The Bottom? What happens At The Top?

The MLM business model is an illusion. It has been proven and exposed over and over again. It is not an investment, it is a scam. The only real winners are the top people who are managing the show. Everyone else, who puts hand and faith in this model, is a loser.

There’s no doubt that MLM can be a very lucrative way to earn a living.

But who really makes the big bucks in this industry?

While there are certainly people at the top of the MLM chain who are raking in six-figure income, the vast majority of people involved in MLM are not making that kind of money. In fact, most people who get involved in MLM will never make more than a few thousand dollars per year.

So why do people keep getting involved in MLM?

For many, it’s the promise of easy money. They see people who are already successful in MLM earning a great income and they think that they can do the same. But the reality is that most people who get involved in MLM will never see the kind of success that the top earners have achieved.

Conclusion

We keep hearing people yelling at us, “hey you need this”, “do this to get that”, “you’re missing out”. But the truth is, you don’t always need somebody to tell you how things really are. You wouldn’t want to see the world in pink when it really is black. In the same way, you don’t need somebody to tell you which business opportunity is GOOD FOR YOU.

You wouldn’t want to fall prey to an illusion that MLM is a good option, that it will change your life. It simply won’t. But if you’re ready to go all in and spend years and years of useless hard work selling useless things to useless people- I’ve one thing to say to you. Do your research first.
